Surprise! “Counterpoint” (7 W-Y) a late bloomer, really is our last bloomer for this spring. A nice find, with buds, so more blooms to come.
The very last daffodil blooming in 2016, and one weathered by our recent rains. The bloom is "An Gof" 7 W-GYO, UK, Scamp, 1999 ML Tall. These sweetly scented, sun proof blooms can have a bit more orange on their rims, but always have the distinctive "green eye" in the center.
A few of our late bloomers are blooming still on the last day of April 2016! A tiny "n. jonquilla" (13 Y-Y) that is a species or wild variety. We also still have lots of "Liebeslied" (3 Y-YYP) blooms that are white with a pink rim on its cup and available for ordering now online with a fall 2016 delivery.
